Vollständig aus Mandel-Weißschokolade-Blondie und Ruby-Schokolade-Blondie hergestellt (Ruby-Schokolade ist eine neue Schokoladengruppe, die beim Rösten eine rötliche Farbe hat und ein beerenartiges Geschmacksprofil hat), sorgte dieser Battenburg, getaucht in weiße Schokolade, für Aufsehen in den sozialen Medien Die Frage ist nur: Servieren Sie es warm und klebrig oder kalt und zäh?

Jeder Kuchen entspricht 8 unserer traditionell großen Blondies. Da die Herstellung jedes einzelnen Kuchens einen dreitägigen Arbeitsaufwand erfordert, backen wir ihn nur einmal pro Woche in begrenzter Anzahl.

Aufgrund des sehr hohen Schokoladenanteils und sehr wenig Mehl sind diese Kuchen im Kühlschrank mindestens zwei Wochen haltbar.

Delicious!

Is the perfect combo of cake and chocolate in with a battenburg twist. Expensive but worth it as a treat and would buy again

Who knew battenberg could be improved!

My husband lives battenberg so I got this as a treat for him. It was amazing, the blondie was moist, the battenberg flavour was spot on, then adding a chocolate casing to it, what more could you ask for.

Brownie was nice but not good value.

It took three weeks for my order to be delivered so I was hoping it would be worth the wait. When the battenburg arrived it was smaller than I was hoping, but that was okay. The taste of the cake was great, very similar to battenburg with an almond flavour. I always warmed it up in the microwave because I like it gooey. Overall, I don't think it was worth nearly £30, which I could have used to buy more from a regular supermarket. I won't be buying from Brownie Heaven again, but if you've got money to spare then I'd say go for it.

Thank you for taking the time to review the Battenberg, I'm really pleased you enjoyed the the flavours but didn't think it was good value. You can of course buy 15-20 Battenbergs for the price of our Battenberg, but it is not the same product. We make everything by hand and it is a three day process, we use nearly 1kg of Belgian Chocolate (Ruby & White, prices for the chocolate alone would be around £15-£25 retail) to make this artisan product and it is inspired by the original idea of Battenberg but using Blondies and Ruby Blondies. Our product is like a cross between the cake and a fine chocolate.
