Giant Nutty Chocolate Balls - Decadent Rolled Ferrero Rocher Balls

Have you ever wished your favourite Ferrero Rocher chocolates were even more indulgent? Well, these Rolled Ferrero Rocher Balls take that beloved hazelnut chocolate treat to luxurious new heights, we've been making these giant treats for around 10-12 years now so we thought we would share how we make them. Prepare to have your mind (and taste buds) blown with layers of rich chocolate, crunchy brownie bits, and roasted hazelnut nibs. These decadent orbs are the ultimate chocolate indulgence.

 

Ingredients:

  • 4 Ferrero Rocher candies
  • 250g Nutella hazelnut spread
  • 8 chocolate brownie crumbed
  • 350g dark milk chocolate, chopped
  • 100g roasted hazelnut nibs

 

 

Instructions:

  1. Unwrap the Ferrero Rocher chocolates. Using a spoon or dipping tool, completely coat each candy in the Nutella spread, forming a thick, even layer. Place the Nutella-coated candies on a parchment-lined baking sheet and chill for 30 minutes to set.
  2. Meanwhile, prepare the chocolate coating. In a double boiler or microwave-safe bowl, gently melt the dark milk chocolate, stirring frequently until completely smooth and shiny, when it is about 85% melted take off the heat or from the microwave and keep stirring until fully melted.
  3. Remove the chilled Nutella-coated Rochers from the fridge. Pour the 1/4 of the chocolate brownie crumbs on to a board. Press the crumbs into a sheet Then One at a time, roll each chocolate  in the brownie crumbs, pressing gently to adhere the crumbs and create an even coating.
  4. Place each ball on baking paper and chill for 30 minutes in the fridge
  5. Once chilled using a fork or dipping tool, dip and roll each brownie crumb-coated candy in the melted dark milk chocolate with the hazelnut added until completely covered. Gently shake off any excess chocolate.
  6. Place the finished Rolled Ferrero Rocher Balls back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the chocolate shells to completely set.
