Partner loved them

Brought them for my partner's birthday as he loves guinness. He loved them! Thought they were amazing and said he'll be happy to order them again for himself.

Awesome Brownies but late...

I would have rated 5* but for the late delivery. I ordered for a friend's 60th birthday - he lives alone so thought these would be a great surprise for him. I requested delivery on his birthday, 17th March, but the brownies arrived around lunchtime on the 18th. I would suggest that in this strange time of huge uncertainty that you post a day earlier? I would have preferred a day early to the day after - it's a bit of a damp squib once the big day has passed.

Hi Vicky,

I'm really pleased the brownies were loved. I'm sorry the delivery was a day late. Unfortunately we couldn't pre-empt the delivery as they were baked on Monday so they would be delivered for St Patricks Day the next day and sent Tracked Delivery we're not open on Sunday so couldn't have sent earlier and wouldn't want to send this product on a Friday as it contains cream. Every day this week and the week before we have checked with our delivery partners Royal Mail and UPS to see if there is a slow down, it was not until Thursday this week that Royal Mail stated they couldn't guarantee Special Delivery and some mail may take slightly longer than usual. We also we had an issue with UPS our fastest courier as they had drivers self isolating so we stopped using UPS on Monday this week as we couldn't get a regular collection.

This coming week will fulfil our orders earlier than usual and ask customers to put in earlier dates and expect deliveries can be impacted.

In these very strange times we are doing our best to still meet deadlines but it takes a toll on us as a business also as we had to drive to 5 different wholesale suppliers for flour as suppliers have delivered late.

Hopefully everyone will be understanding for these issues and the difficult task the delivery companies are facing, thank you for the great review.

Regards

Jason
